It all started with a love for buildings and the environment…

Dr Nicole Jean is the Managing Director of Konsa Ltd. She has spent more than fifteen years helping to design and build better buildings; the kind that use less energy, waste less water, and cost less to run.

Nicole trained as an engineer at Heriot Watt University in Edinburgh, graduating top of her class before going on to earn a PhD in Construction. Her early career took her onto some well-known projects, including the Mary Rose Museum in Portsmouth and the Sea City Museum in Southampton.

During her time at Mace, one of the UK's largest construction companies, she led a team of public health engineers, advised clients on major schemes across sectors from education to justice, and eventually joined the senior leadership team as Head of Engineering for research and development. Then Regional Decarbonisation lead (London) at RLB.

Today she brings that experience to Konsa's clients, helping them make practical decisions that move their buildings towards net zero carbon and resilient drainage systems.
